About Tieng Adhola Cultural Institution
Tieng Adhola Cultural Institution (TACI) is a cultural organization founded in 1999 and duly registered and recognized by the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development of the Government of the Republic of Uganda.
In 2019, TACI established its development arm, Tieng Adhola Development Foundation (TADEFO) LTD (Reg No: 8002000156073), to operationalize strategic planning and resource mobilization.
Our offices are located in the heart of Tororo Municipality along Delhi Place on plot 15 off Sam Owori Road in Western Division.

Preservation of Cultural and National Values
Tieng adhola/ TADEFO is the custodian of the Jopadhola cultural heritage. Traditionally, there is Nyakiriga in Sere Subcounty in Tororo District situated at Maundo South.
Besides there are many worship and tourist centres yet to be gazetted. Padhola is a home to many religious sites including the oldest seminary in the Africa.
Resource Mobilization
The cultural institution through TADEFO is greatly involved in mobilizing financial resources for the transformation of her people by investing much in infrastructural development in health, education and language development.
TADEFO developed a behaviour change tool kit, a hand book entitled Guidelines on Family and Gender Relations of the Jopadhola to help reduce Gender Based Violence.
Community Mobilization and Sensitization
TACI partners with government and other development partners to mobilize her people for Development Agenda notably sensitization on health issues, social cultural issues and economic empowerment.
The organisation has a virtual university of technology known as Adhola Women University of Science and Technology.
Advocacy and Language Development
TADEFO advocates for the lowly and ensures there is equitable development among her people. The Dhopadhola Language Board has developed an orthography now at the National Curriculum Development centre.

Model School Farm
A model school farm situated in Kidera put in place with finances from Alpine Rotarians.

The Kidera Primary School-Farm Transport Initiative
Supporting children's nutrition and transportation to the model school farm.

Girls Support Programme
Fungo house at Kidera primary school for making re-usable pads for in school girls implemented by TADEFO with support from the Rotarians.
Cultural Leadership and Government Link
HRH Kwar Adhola is the only special link between the Jopadhola and the Government of the Republic of Uganda in all matters. He ensures government services reach her people and recommends descendants to positions of prominence.

The institution has a palace under construction which will equally house a museum with cultural theatre for the Jopadhola and entry tourist point.
